Elevate Your Expertise: R&P Biomechanics’ Online Biomechanical Gait Analysis Course

Attention Biomechanical Researchers in Latin America! Are you looking to deepen your understanding of gait analysis and enhance your research capabilities? R&P Biomechanics Online Course on Instrumented Gait Biomechanical Analysis 2024 is designed specifically for professionals and students eager to explore the fundamental aspects of gait analysis, including using Visual3D.

Why This Gait Analysis Course Matters

Movement matters to human health. Biomechanical gait analysis allows us to objectively and methodically evaluate mobility in individuals with various conditions, which is useful for prescribing orthoses and running post-intervention assessments.  This course comprehensively explores these principles, focusing on applying Visual3D technology.

Gait Analysis Course Structure

  • Unit 1: Basic Concepts covers an introduction to gait analysis, fundamental biomechanical terminology, and techniques for 2D and 3D videography analysis.
  • Unit 2: Gait Kinematics, participants will explore tools for measuring walking ability, understand body segments and joints, and differentiate between normal and pathological kinematics through case studies.
  • Unit 3: Gait Kinetics focuses on the analysis of force and joint moments, provides insights into diabetic foot issues, and introduces the application of digital baropodometry; and
  • Unit 4: Complementary Technologies delves into muscle activation measurement systems, web-based report generation and data visualization, and musculoskeletal simulation.
